Some people take the straight and specified path for their professional careers. Others have a more "adventurous" experience. I belonged to the latter. My professional life has had me in jobs, and organizations varying fields and industries that I did not think I would be a part of:
- Customer Service Associate for a multinational bank's BPO.
- An officer for 2 different Philippine NGOs.
- Senior Officer for Knowledge Management at KPMG Philippines.
- An Operations Manager, then a Special Assistant to the President and Chancellor of a major Philippine University.
- A Management Consultant, and a senior executives of a small boutique consulting firm for about 5 years.
My professional fields of interest lie in Marketing, Communications, Strategy Development, and Learning & Development. I also dabble in Creative Media, occasionally involved in the content and design execution of marketing and communication materials. I have mentored and advised many students, colleagues, and peers over the past several years, enjoying the long hours of discussion to get inside their heads and bring out the ideas and concepts that will maximize their growth. I am an enthusiast of the arts, and of the performing arts, having done them in my youth and occasionally for internal work in my previous jobs. Photography and cinematography are hobbies that I enjoy.
